In view of the global threat brought about by the current COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to postpone ICDDTM’20 until further notice. The decision to postpone our event was based on careful considerations of the significant effects that the current pandemic may have on both health and safety of our conference speakers and delegates.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. It is our hope that you will continue to support us when we announce a new date of our event as soon as the current situation improves and the threat of COVID-19 pandemic is under control.

Precision medicine is significantly changing the way therapies are being developed, benefiting patients, the pharmaceutical industry, and the society.

The Malaysian Association of Cancer Research (MACR), which was established back in 2017, quickly saw the importance of precision medicine and aspired to create a global platform for sharing of recent research findings of this field in relation to drug discoveries and translational medicine.

Building upon the success of the inaugural International Conference of Drug Discovery and Translational Medicine (ICDDTM’18), which had attracted approximately 270 delegates from local and abroad, the Malaysian Association of Cancer Research (MACR) and its collaborators will once again join hands in organizing the 2nd International Conference of Drug Discovery and Translational Medicine 2020 (ICDDTM’20) from 1st – 3rd December 2020.

In keeping abreast with the recent emergence of innovative technologies in precision medicine, the organisers have set the conference theme as “Advancing Precision Medicine with Emerging Technologies: Bridging Gap Between Academia and Industry.”

The conference will feature its plenary and invited talks based on 4 major areas:

– Cancer
– Microbiome therapy
– Mental health/neurodegeneration
– Stem cell therapy

A total of 6 conference tracks have been identified for oral and poster presentations:

– Cancer
– Cell therapy
– Inflammatory diseases
– Mental health/neurodegeneration
– Metabolic diseases
